We are officially reopeing on June 8. We hope you're staying safe and healthy in these crazy times. Here at SalonU, your safety and beauty is our number one priority. This is what we are doing to ensure you will have a safe visit. The entire salon has been cleaned and sterilized top to bottom. Furnace filters have been changed, windows washed inside and out. Bactronics has treated the entire salon. This is a hospital grade disinfectant which is extremely effective in killing viruses and also preventing bacterial growth on surfaces for 4-6 months. We have also installed iWave Air Purifying System which reduces pathogens, allergens and odors.

We have made sure that the surfaces we touch and the air we breathe are free from harmful viruses. Every product and surface has additionally been disinfected multiple times by our staff. These are only the behind-the-scenes things we have done. We're also implementing a Ten Point Sanitation Protocol which will ensure that all of our tools, stations and sinks are sanitized before and after every client. Plexiglass has also been installed in between sinks, and stations are six feet apart. We are striving for the reputation of Cleanest and Safest Salon in Pittsburgh!

Although we've had to make changes, SALONU is committed to ensuring that the quality of your experience does not change. We want you to feel safe, comfortable, and know that you can trust us.
What to expect upon arrival:

Please wear a mask upon entry. If you do not have one you may purchase one from us. We prefer a mask that goes around the ears rather than around the back of your head.
Please sign in at the front desk.
We will have you sign a waver and answer a few health questions.
If we are not immediately ready to service you, we've have you wait outside after you have checked in and we will contact you when your stylist is ready.
Both you and the stylist will sanitize your hands before heading back to the station.
We ask that you do not bring guests, family members, or fur friends if possible to limit the amount of people in the salon.
Everyone will be checked out at the stations to keep foot traffic at the desk to a minimum.
We will be happy to rebook you at a later time if you are ill.
There will be a $5 environmental surcharge. This covers cost of extra sanitation and recycling measures.
